Melanie Marquis is the founder and producer of the Mystical Minds conventions. She is also an award-winning author, a tarot reader and creator, and a local coordinator for the Pagan Pride Project. She's the author of Llewellyn's Little Book of Moon Spells, Carl Llewellyn Weschcke: Pioneer and Publisher of Body, Mind, and Spirit, A Witch's World of Magick, The Witch's Bag of Tricks, Beltane, and Lughnasadh, as well as the co-author of Witchy Mama (with Emily A. Francis), and the creator of the Modern Spellcaster's Tarot (illustrated by Scott Murphy), all from Llewellyn Worldwide. She's also the creator of the independenly published tarot deck, The Stuffed Animal Tarot.
